About Bobbie
As a native of Silver Spring, Maryland, Bobbie started her media career at NBC in Washington DC at 17 through the prestigious Emma Bowen Foundation. While studying at Boston University, she worked in sports marketing and earned a degree in Television. Her first job after graduation was as a Promo Producer/Editor at NBC4, where she won a Promax Gold Award.
With ambition to create content, Bobbie moved to Los Angeles- first handling publicity for CBS's hit series "The Ghost Whisperer" and then assisting the Chief Creative Officer of the multinational content leader FremantleMedia. There she built strong relationships, which led to Bobbie’s first unscripted producing roles on reality shows featuring Kirstie Alley and David Hasselhoff, among others.
Bobbie continued to thrive in both field and post-production with companies like eOne, Lighthearted and 3Ball Entertainment, rising the ranks to became Co-Executive Producer of the “Growing Up Hip Hop” franchise as well as other hit programs.
With extensive experience that spans across various project life cycles — from concept development to production and then the intricate process of post-production — Bobbie has had the privilege of working with a diverse array of clients, including Hulu, NBC Universal, Bravo, MTV, VH1, Discovery, WEtv, Lifetime, and GlaxoSmithKline, for whom she produced a compelling awards video to highlight their community involvement.
Now back in Maryland, Bobbie finds that her most challenging clients are her two incredibly energetic young girls, who keep her on her toes and motivate her daily.
